     the role of communications systems on developing marine safety is undeniable. in this paper the practical ways of improving marine safety through networking of communications systems that are installed at coasts has been reviewed. specially, networking of vhf radios, which will improve productivity of pros and also will have great effects on reduction of required software and hardware. meanwhile, it will improve reliability of the system for a great deal.
