    english language teachging having grown in importance, knowing some factors through learning is important as well.among different factors subscribing to english language learning, affective variable such as critical period,motivation, and self confidence are of paramount importance. among these various factors, learners' attitude towards language learning is considered as one of the key factors in motivating the learners to learn that language.to communicate well, proper diction in uttering and expressing is much demanded. it is an inseparable part and the most dominant factor in communication besides gestures, facial expressions, etc. this study investigates the interplay of students’ attitudinal factors in learning english as a foreign language. in this globalization era, people and students need english as a medium to have a conversation with people around the world. unfortunately, students especially those at the young age still find difficulties in learning english. on the contrary, the less difficulties they find, the highest grade they will get. students learn the english much better when the examples are not randomly presented but organized in a meaningful order which illustrates gradually more concepts, and gradually more complex one. this paper highlights some students' factors and resources related to the implementation in context of english language teaching(elt) and learning. some common elt problems such as students lack of motivation, poor attitude toward language learning, curriculum, self-confidence,and so forth are also discussed.
