mobile ad hoc networks do not have a predetermined and specific structure, and there is no fixed infrastructure, such that nodes communicate through wireless connections. in ad hoc networks, because nodes themselves participate in the routing operation, identifying safe and reliable routes for data transfer and reducing the dropping of data packets can be regarded as one of the challenges of such networks. in this paper, the proposed method is an extension of the aodv routing method that, in an adaptable and adjustable manner, according to network conditions, the amount of nodes misbehaving, the number of packets dropped, and battery energy of the nodes, tries to establish a reliable route based on trust. it can be developed for use in various applications of mobile ad hoc networks. to evaluate network performance, the proposed model has been implemented on the omnet ++ simulator. in the proposed method, the delivery rate of packets is significantly higher with an increase in misbehaving nodes, as compared to the base aodv, sanaz farajzadeh's method and the tvaodv method, and the packets dropping rate is lowered. also, the routing overhead and end-to-end delay are decreased due to route stability.
