     a dynamical model of hiv infection of cd4+t cells is solved numerically using a non-standard finite difference(nsfd) method. this new discrete system has the same properties as the continuous model. through discrete lyapunov function, the global asymptotical stability of the steady-state solution(when the basic reproduction number r0 ≤ 1)is determined. the schur-cohn criteria is used for local asymptotical stability of the steady-state solution, when r0 > 1 as well. finally, numerical simulations are provided to illustrate the theoretical results.
