teeth whitening is of paramount importance in today's society, the effectiveness of teeth whitening is questionable and controversial. doctors, patients and researchers have expressed concern about teeth whitening due to the risk of tooth decay and the pos sibility of frustration if advertising results are not achieved.and unfortunately, every day we see and hear a lot of advertisements about beauty objective: this study compared the whitening performance of toothpaste with the plant in the community with different whitening technologies after initial and continuous use. ingredients and methods: using concentrated black tea solution, 100 cow teeth were stained. according to teeth whitening technology, they were randomly distributed in 6 groups: activated cha rcoal (b& blue covarine ( hydrogen peroxide ( microbeads (oral b 3d white perfection 3dw) and optimized abrasives (they were compared to a traditional toothpaste without a whitening agent (ta control). specimens underwent a brushing machine with controlled pressure, time and temperature.
