     one of the discussed problems from the debut of the sarcheshmeh copper mine up until now is the grade difference between the mine output and the concentrating plant feed. any abnormal difference between those two grades might lead to efficiency declination. applying statistical and geostatistical tools, in this study one method is introduced based on which it’s possible to calculate grade deviation of the concentrating plant feed and to compare them with the grade of the mine output during each working shift as well as the entire day which makes it conceivable to pinpoint any abnormal differences. having the influential parameters contributing in grade fluctuations recognized, one could define an acceptable range and put the daily plans on that basis. finally, it was suggested that if the grade of concentrating plant feed falls within the rage of the mine output for 95 days out of 100 consecutive days, we could stop sampling the concentrating plant feed and include the applied grade of the mine in metallurgic calculations from that point forward. this can significantly reduce the expenditures and increase the efficiency.
