     there are some integrals which cannot be evaluated in terms of elementary functions or even the standard special functions for general values of parameters. in these cases it may be used a general method that builds on mellin transform method. in a physical quantity case, particles generally lose energy when travelling in a medium. they will eventually have lost all their kinetic energy and come to rest. the distance travelled by the particles is referred to as the “range”. in this paper, we calculate the physical quantity “range” r, by integrating of the energy loss per unit path, de/dx, while it first turns into mellin convolution of two functions and, finally it is expressed in terms of meijer g-function.
