    the investigation of the effect of school health care providers on school resilience in disaster conditions, iran, 2020

    introduction:one of the consequences of disasters is the damage to schools, teachers, and students. creating disaster resilient schools is one of the strategies of reducing the dangers. the health care providers at schools can be effective in improving the resilience at schools. this study was carried out to investigate the effect of health care providers on the resilience condition of schools and planning to promote resilience to crises and disasters in 2020.materials and methodologies:the research population included the urban schools in kermanshah. a total number of 231 schools were selected by random sampling at 95% confidence.

    it was a cross-sectional descriptive-analytic study. school resilience in disasters questionnaire was used for data collection. spss version 26 (spss inc, chicago, il, usa) and statistical tests such as pearson and independent t-test were used for data analysis. results: research results indicated a significant relationship in three of the nine resilience components of schools with and without health care providers. statistical analysis showed a significant difference between safety (p=0.040), educational (p=0.030), and functional (p=0.006) components at schools with health care provider groups.

    also, the final school resilience was significantly related to the health care provider variable (p=0.014). and correlation between the total score of resilience and the resilience components p<0.05. conclusion: the health condition in schools with health care providers is better than that in schools without health care providers. health care providers at schools can play an important role and improve school resilience. that is, being aware of the resilience condition can help the corresponding officials to devise an effective plan for resilience. as a result, it increases resilience and helps to determine preventive measures.
