the main purpose of this study is to analyze the rise of pakistan peoples party in pakistan. the foundation of pakistan peoples party was laid by zulfikar ali bhutto on november 30, 1967 and he became its first chairman. the key objectives of pakistan peoples party are; islam is our faith, democracy is our polity, socialism is our economy and all power to the people. the other objectives of pakistan peoples party are to introduce the idea of real democracy in pakistan and transfer of power to the grass root level. the party initiates efforts to take the concrete measures for the elimination of feudalism in pakistan. the ultimate goal of pakistan peoples party is the achievement of a democratic rule that is only possible through the principle of collectivism. pakistan peoples party will stop the old-fashioned system of government which is in the hands of few rich persons.
